Buena Vista Villas is a seven Villa Complex
located in the Tulemar Gardens Property
in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. Manuel
Antonio is considered the most beautiful
coast line in Costa Rica and it is located
171 miles south of San Jose, Costa Rica’s
capital.

Getting
there:
International flights usually arrive at
the Juan Santa Maria International Airport
located 14 miles from downtown San Jose.
Domestic SANSA flights use their own terminal
adjacent to the international terminal.
SANSA flights to Quepos last about 20 minutes
and are approximately $49 each way. Once
in Quepos airstrip, shuttles provide transportation
to and from the Tulemar Property where Buena
Vista Villas is located. This service is
provided for a reasonable charge of about
$6ºº U.S.
Costa Rica is easy to navigate and locals
are happy to help with directions. Most
roads are in fair condition still many are
narrow and mountainous. It is a leisurely
3 1/2 hour ride to Manuel Antonio, the drive
is colorful and there are several points
of interest along the way. From the Costa
Rican International Airport, take the Pan-American
Highway to Atenas. Exit at the Atenas -
Orotina sign and past Orotina. Pass Jaco,
Parrita, and finally Quepos. Once in Quepos,
turn left after passing the small park,
and drive another 2.5 miles (4 kilometers)
on the only road to Manuel Antonio National
Park. You will see the Tulemar Gardens Sign
on your right hand side, Buena Vista Villas
is located inside Tulemar Gardens.
Leaving Costa Rica
When you leave, Costa Rica charges a departure
tax which is currently about $26 this tax
is generally not included in your international
airline tickets.
