About Costa Rica
Costa Rica is characterized by an impressive scenic beauty, large protected areas, social and political stability, high educational levels, and efficient infrastructure and services.

Surrounded by both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans Costa Rica is a true oasis; its commitment to conservation has allowed this tropical heaven to maintain most of its tropical rainforest and has ensured the habitat for playful monkeys, relaxed sloths, a variety of lizards, a wide assortment of tropical birds, many species of butterflies, and more.

The narrow shape of the country provides a large coastline perfect for surfing and water sports. The adventurous can fly through forests on zip lines, peer into boiling volcanoes, surf oversized waves and dive with dolphins and whales. For the laid back, the warm year around climate and warm waters are built for laziness.
